Friends are people who actually like to spend time with you. They’re not supposed to see you or be interested in meeting up with you. That’s why it’s so great when someone likes to hang out — it shows that they at least believe in true friendship and not just something superficial like the approval of their friends.

Even if you don’t know someone very well, you can still be friends by simply being yourself and being kind, caring and friendly towards other people. Because as we all know, the world is filled with haters and those who clearly don’t understand how important genuine, friendly interactions with others are.

Smile and Laugh More Often

Laughter is simply contagious. No matter how serious you are, when you start to laugh with your friends, you become much more open and understanding towards others. You don’t have to be in the right mood to start a conversation with your friends, but when you do, you’re much more likely to have a positive experience than if you were in a r*pid state of elation. This is especially important when you’re just starting out in life and haven’t had many opportunities to make new friends yet. Being able to laugh and interact with the world around you a lot more will make you a much more popular friend in no time. You might even make a couple of new friends in the process.

Introduce Yourself and shows you care

You might not know this, but a lot of people actually prefer to be introduced to new people rather than the other way around. If you don’t have any friends yet, it’s a good idea to get yourself introduced to as many people as possible. You might consider joining a group or group activity where you’re able to meet new people. There are plenty of social media platforms where you can find groups with members from all walks of life. You might even want to try bringing a friend along with you so they can meet new people too.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help: It’ll make you more popular

Help is always on hand, whether it be from other people or the tools provided by the computer or the device itself. You just need to remember to ask for help when you need it, not when you don’t. When you’re not 100% sure how to do something or you’re faced with a problem that you don’t know how to solve, it’s always a good idea to ask for help. It might sound “less popular” to ask for help than to just ignore it and hope for the best, but in the long run, it makes you a much more popular person.

Don’t be afraid to reach out with an invitation. It’ll show you care

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love hosting a party? But sometimes, you might have to call or write a friend to invite them to your party. This doesn’t mean you have to throw a huge bash, just invite a couple of your closest friends and see what happens. Party invitations might come back with a “no thanks” in return, but it doesn’t mean they don’t want to come. Reach out to your friends and see what happens. Invite them to your next event, ask them to join you for drinks or invite them to come and hang out at your place. Sometimes you just have to reach out and try, right?

Be yourself: You are more attractive that way

We all know this one, right? You might have a huge party and invite all your friends, or you might invite a small group of people to your house for drinks and food. Both of these are great, but the first one is actually a sign of insecurity. You’re probably worried that your friends won’t like you if they see you in that environment. Well, the answer is “probably not”. But they might not like the person you are when they see you in that environment, so it’s a good idea to show them how you are when you’re at home. You can even invite them to stay for a couple of nights if you want to.

Friends are a blessing. They can be a source of support, friendship and companionship. They can also be a great way to meet new people and make new friends. There’s no one-size-fits-all definition of what makes a friend, but luckily, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is finding your friends and making the most of them.
